DANCE PARTY

In honour of the approaching marriage of her brother, Air. Wynyard Cash, Mrs. A. Neville gave a dance party in the Amateur Operatic Society’s Hall in Grafton Road last evening. Between 300 and 400 guests were present, and throughout the evening bright dance music was supplied by three orchestras, Stacey’s, L. *Pattie’s and Clyde Howley’s. Novelty dances were played, including a spot waltz and a Monte Carlo dance. Air. Alaurice Guttridge played several pianoforte solos and vocal items were given by Air. O’Donnell and Mr. AlcDonald. Mr. and Airs. Clyde Howley entertained the guests with exhibition dances. Mrs. Neville wore a gown of geranium red satm beaute, with a dipping hem of silver lace and a wrap of white fox fur, to receive her guests.
