CARE NECESSARY IN CLOTHES DISTRIBUTION
QOCIAL workers who are distributing clothing from Saturday’s collection for charity are alive to the abuses possible. Inquiries are made‘ as to the bona-fides of applicants for help, and the workers are on the lookout for the type which receives gifts of clothes and converts them into cash at a second-hand dealer’s. Known applicants ?.'e being supplied without question, but others have to submit to close inquiry.
