MR. W. J. JORDAN’S TOUR
PUBLIC FAREWELL TO BE ARRANGED
A meeting of the electors of Manukau will be held to-morrow evening in the Strand Theatre, Onehunga, for the purposes of making arrangements for a public farewell to Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P., on the eve of his departure for Canada.
Already several sub-committees have been formed in different parts of the electorate. These will co-operate with the central executive in Onehunga to arrange a date for the final function. As Mr. Jordan, when abroad, will represent the Dominion as a whole, the movement is meeting with support from all shades of political opinion.
