REPEAL WANTED
NEW ARBITRATION ACT UNIONISTS’ PLEDGE (United P.A. —By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 9.20 a.m. MELBOURNE, To-day. The Trade Union Congress passed a resolution pledging itself to bring about a repeal of the recently-amended Commonwealth Arbitration Act, which gives unionists fuller control over their organisations, and penalises strikes. A sub-committee was appointed to formulate a report concerning retention or abolition of the Arbitration Court.
