WHAT TO BO WITH HER UNEMPLOYED?
ENGLAND LOOKS TO DOMINIONS FOR PROBLEM’S SOLUTION British. Official Wireless. Reed. 12.15 p.m. RUGBY, Tuesday. The Industries Transfer Board met to-day at the request of the Government, to consider the possibility of transferring unemployed from depressed districts to good ones, or, in certain circumstances, to overseas parts of the Empire. The board has completed investigations, which have been conducted in various parts of the country. An exhaustive and comprehensive report has now been presented, and is under consideration by the Government. The Prime Minister, Mr. Stanley Baldwin, stated in the House of Commons that he hoped to release it for publication at an early date.
