i Remodelling School.—A grant has been authorised for the remodelling of Swanson, school, according to advice received from Wellington to-day by the Auckland Education Board. Knocked Down By Car.—Mrs. Edith Rae, of 3 Owen’s Road, Epsom, was knocked down by a car on Saturday afternoon, while she was crossing Manukau Road at the intersection of Owen’s Road. She was taken to hospital by the St. John Ambulance, but after treatment, was allowed to go home.
