FARMER’S SUICIDE
TOOK POISON IN HOTEL Press Association NAPIER, Friday. A verdict of death by poison, selfadministered, was returned at the inquest to-day on the death of Lionel James Donovan, a farmer, of Fordell, Wanganui, who died in the Napier Hospital early this morning, after being found in his room at the Masonic Hotel yesterday afternoon, suffering from the effects of poison, a bottle of which was found in the room. The evidence showed that Donovan was on holiday in Napier.
