Successful experiments have been made by the Government Marconi beam station at Bridgwater, which i* the receiving station for the beam telegraph service between Britain and Canada, with the new Marconi-Mathieu multiplex apparatus. This enables simultaneous telephone and telegraph services to be conducted and telephonic communication wra maintained with Montreal at the same time as two Morse telegraph service? all with the same apparatus and aerials It is considered that the experiments prove than an inter-Imperial beam telephone service will be a possibility in the near future.
