QUESTION ABOUT STATUS (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Times Cable. DELHI, Saturday. A conference was held at Bombay between a large number of the ruling Princes of India and Sir Leslie Scott, formerly British Solicitor-Genera.. The Princes submitted a tentative scheme for their future position in the constitution, which they claim is at present most indefinite. Thev urge the appointment of thre.councils, as follows: <1) The Viceroy and Indian States Council, to deal with the Princes’ rights, vis-a-vis, the KingEmperor. (2) The Governor-General and Indian States Council, to deal with ordinary administrative rights. vis-a----1 vis, British India.
