At Wembley Stadium, in the Association Cup final, Blackburn Rovers defeated Huddersfield by 3 goals to 1. There were 93,000 spectators, including King George and Queen Mary and the Duke and Duchess of York. Last year Cardiff City defeated Woolwich Arsenal in the final match for the Association Cup by 1 goal to 0. The largest gate receipts, £27,776, were taken in 1923, when Bolton Wanderers defeated West Ham. Over 126,000 persons passed the turnstiles, and many thousands more broke in.
