MR. HUGHES’S COMPLAINT
INFLUX OF ITALIANS A DISCUSSION INVITED (United P. A.—By Telegraph — Copyright.) Reed. 10.30 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. Arising out of Mr. W. M. Hughes’s recent criticism of the Federal Ministry’s failure to control the influx of Italians, the Prime Minister, Mr. Stanley Bruce, intends to invite a discussion by the National Party at Canberra to-morrow, when there is no certainty that Mr. Hughes will be present, owing to his having estranged himself by his utterances, and precipitated a delicate political situation.
