Lights Fail at Golf Club Dance

TITIRANGI CLUB OPENING The chief social event of the golfing season, the opening night dinner anti dance at the Titirangi links clubhouse, took place on Saturday evening, an.l was an even brighter affair than usual i —until suddenly the electric mains : broke, plunging the place into darkness shortly after supper. The lights were ! unkind enough to stay out. so the j dance had to be abandoned at 11 p.m. There was a very large attendance, most of those present remaining on from the afternoon's play.
