LEAVING TO-MORROW
/i FURTHER contingent of Auckland pacing and trotting representatives will leave to-morrow evening for the East Coast to assist at the Hastings fixture during the week-end. T. Robertson (Nella Dillon) P Rogers (Peter Grattan) and J.‘ Shaw (Leo Mauritius and Jewel Pointer) will comprise the touring team, the latter being taken through for exhibition purposes. Each candidate was given a solid work-out to-day, the results being satisfactory. There should be good prospects of some of the prize money finding its way to Auckland. At the time of writing owner Simkin is undec'ded about taking Roamer to the Bay fixture, but Hohora will not make the trip.
