The engineer, Mr. J. Rogers, reported to the Mount Eden Borough ’ ouncii last evening that he had made ex haustive inquiries and examination ancient method adopted in the of a Maori pa, a specimen of £den * s pr °P osec * to erect on Mount replica of the pa at Whakarewain his opinion, would serve the purpose. He had put in progress the oparation of a design of a pa to suit Ul ® site. The Mayor, Mr. E. H.
