LATE MR. J. COLLICOAT
Mr. Joseph Collicoat, of Grey Lynn, died on Saturday at the age of 83. Born In Weybridge, Cornwall, Mr. Collicoat spent some years in California before coming to the Dominion. In 1874 he landed at Thames and spent two years goldmining at Coromandel. He then came to Auckland and had lived here ever since. His wife predeceased him four years ago. Mr. Collicoat is survived by two sons, Mr. J. T. Collicoat, Mount Albert; Mr. P. Collicoat, Grey Lynn; and two daughters, Mrs. W. Attenborough, Grey Lynn, and Mrs. W- A. Kyle, Epsom. -
