--THE GIRL OF GOLD” Florence Vidor completely changes her personality in "The Girl of Gold," which comes to the Edendale Theatre to-night, for she appears for the first time in her scree,i career as a blonde. She is the pampered daughter of a California millionaire who unsuccessfully tries to break into New York society. The daughter then assumes another name and falls in love with a man who has previously agreed to marry the Girl of Gold for a money consideration, before he had seen her. The complications that ensue make a highly-djramatic screen 8t One striking episode is staged on the 16th level of a gold-mine, where a society ball is in progress. When festivities are at their height, the mine caves in. These scenes were actually staged in an old Nevada gold-mine. The supporting cast includes Malcolm McGregor, Alan Dußrey, Bessie Eyton and Cnaries Fre -?he' Outlaw Dog." with Ranger, the dog star, will be shown to-night.
