NATIONAL AND LYRIC

LAST TWO NIGHTS The laughs of a lifetime are promised National and Lyric Theatre patrons, where Fox Films great war comedy-drama, “The Gay Retreat,” will be shown for two more days. The producers call this a story of war daze and Paris nights and judging from previews as reported by Metropolitan critics it is one of the most mirthful entertainments ever put on the screen. Ted McNamara and Sammy Cohen, the merrymaking marines of “What Price Glory,” are the featured players. “The Boob,” which is on the same programme, is a whimsical story of youth in which Miss Olmsted is cofeatured with George K. Arthur, Joan Crawford and Charles Murray. Antonio D’Algy and Hank Mann complete the cast.
