New Zealand Butter Preferred in England
“People in England told me that they preferred New Zealand butter to any other, even their oxen” said Mr. Wilford Beadel, of Christchurch, who returned by the Arawa to-day. “When 1 left London there was a fine display of swordfish in the windows of the High Commissioner’s Office in The Strand.” Mr. Beadel said that he did not see much New Zealand advertising in the provinces, but there was a good deal in London. Australia was advertising very heavily. He saw big advertisements on tramcars and buses and also throughout the English provinces. “Eat Australian Fruit” was the slogan he smo everywhere.
