MAN JUMPS EIGHTY FEET INTO RIVER
(From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. An unknown man committed suicide about 12.45 p.m. to-day by throwing himself from the railway bridge into the Waikato River. Several horrified passers-by saw him hurl himself 80ft to his death. He rose to the surface again after striking the water, but finally disappeared. Dragging operations are in progress.
