CONSTABLE SHOT
BULLET-WOUND OVER HEART FOUND AT POLICE STATION Press Association. ■ WANGANUI, To-day. BETWEEN 8 and 9 o’clock this morning the report of a firearm was heard at the back of the police station, and later, the prostrate form of Constable Sims was found in the yard, with a service revolver bullet-wound over his heart. He was taken to the Wanganui Hospital in a critical condition.
