FIRE IN PARNELL
BUTCHER’S SHOP DAMAGED A fire at 30 Parnell Road, in a twostoreyed wooden shop owned by Mr. R. Roberts and occupied by Messrs. Reid and Herk, butchers, led to a cal! being received b> the City Fire at 9.58 last night. The fire began at the back of the shop and spread upward along the lining to the room above. The blasie was easily extinguished. The room on the top floor and tne lining of the one underneath were damaged. The shop is insured in the Union office for £7OO, and a policy for £3OO on the contents is held with th# Royal Company.
