Support for Country Party.—That considerable interest is being taken in the proposal for a Farmers’ Party to enter into the political arena can be taken from the fact that letters continue to come to hand at the local office of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union warmly endorsing the proposition. From the Nelson provincial district comes the copy of a unanimous resolution supporting the aims of the party, and recommending that the question be brought before the next Dominion conference of the union.
