The Mayor of Auckland, Mr. G. Baildon, was able to attend at the Town Hall yesterday for the first time since his recent illness. The general manager of the Bank of Sew Zealand. Mr. G. W. Mclntosh, is on a visit to Auckland. Mr. Rodney Coates, brother of the Prime Minister, underwent an operation at a private hospital yesterday morning.
