NEW ROTORUA THEATRE
The picture theatre company promoted in Rotorua has now gone to allotment, and it is expected that the building will be commenced before long. It will occupy a commanding site in Tutanekai Street, with a frontage of 66 feet and a depth of 165 feet. Ample room for the erection of a commodious building is assured. The building, which will be erected in brick or concrete, will bo in accord with modern theatres both in construction and design, and. in addition to being warm and comfortable, special attention is to be paid to the construction of the stage, by which means it is hoped to induce travelling theatrical companies to include Rotorua in their itinerary.
