Wharf Labourer Injured. —While Mr. James Dodds, of Bell wood Avenue, a single man aged 45, was working on the steamer Kaiapoi at King’s Wharf yesterday, he was struck in the face by a chain sling. Mr. Dodds Was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and is reported to be progressing favourably.
