MEETING OF LEAGUE EXCLUSION OF ASIATICS (Prom Our Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, To-day. The annual meeting of the White Xew Zealand League was held in Pukekohe last evening. The president, .Mr. M. Cronin, presided over a representative gathering. The secretary, Mr. G. T. Parvin, reported the local bodies, municipal authorities, trade unions and other institutions throughout the Dominion had affirmed the principle of the league, and made representations to the Government. Branches of the organisation were active in Auckland and Wellington. As a result of the league’s endeavours, the Government had placed a temporary exclusion policy upon Asiatics, and it was hoped it would be established on a permanent basis. Special mention was made of the financial aid rendered by Mr. J. Fuller, of Sydney. Officers were elected as follow: President, Mr. M. Cronin; vice-president, Mr. E. J. Campbell; secretary, Mr. G. T. Parvin; treasurer, Mr. O. Heerdegen; solicitor, Mr. E. G. Foster; auditor, Mi'. M. S. Campbell; executive, Messrs. P. Miller, E. J. Campbell, A. R. Hatt, R. Denniston, G. Gathercole, A. Middleton, T. Pollock, C. H. Mason, S. J. Ryan and H. Golding.
