TEA FACTORY OPENED

PRESENTATION BY STAFF On the occasion of the opening of la. D. Nathan and Co., Ltd.’s new tea factory in upper Shortland Street, at the rear of the company’s new premises in Fort Street, the factory staff presented Mr. N. Alfred Nathan with a polished cedar box made from a tea chest.

Mr. Nathan personally filled the first packet of tea. This was placed in the casket, which bears a suitably inscribed silver plate.
