PATIENT WANDERS FROM HOSPITAL
FOUND IN THE STREET In * the early hours of yesterday morning a woman patient left her bed in the Public Hospital and wandered aa far as the University Buildings in Symonds Street. She was clad only in a dressing gown and slippers, Two motorists saw the woman and informed the police, who had also been communicated with by the hospital authorities. The woman has been seriously ill, ; md in a nervous state. It is thought that she was delirious when she left the hospital. The early morning walk has not had any serious effect on her health.
