COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Waipiata, from Dunedin via Oamaru, left Timaru at 6 p.m. yesterday for Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland and is due here abou£ Sunday next. The Karori sailed from Napier at midnight for Gisborne and Auckland. The vessel is en route from Westport and is expected here on Saturday. The Kittawa was expected to leave Grey mouth this morning for Napier and Auckland, and should arrive here early next week. The Kaiapoi was delayed at Auckland yesterday by rain and now leaves at 5 p.m. to-day for Portland, thence the West Coast. The Wingatui, which has been delayed here by bad weather, is now expected to sail from Auckland at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, - Dunedin, Bluff and Timaru. The Kaimanawa, due at Lyttelton tomorrow from Wellington, loads a full cargo there for Auckland. She is expected to arrive here early next week. The Katoa is to leave Dunedin tomorrow for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton and Auckland and is clue here about July 16 The Waimea, due at Auckland this afternoon from Naper, sails at noon tomorrow for Gisborne and Napier on her return trip. The Gunbar, from East Coast ports via bays, arrived at Auckland this morning, and is scheduled to sail at* 10 o’clock tonight on her return trip'to Gisborne and Napier via the bays. The Tekoa arrived at Dunedin this morning from Lyttelton and sails on Saturday for New Plymouth to land the balance of her Liverpool cargo. The Huntingdon leaves Bluff to-morrow for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland to complete her loading for London and West of England ports. The lonic is, to sail from Lyttelton tomorrow for Port Chalmers and Bluff to put out the remainder of her London cargo. The Haggersgate sails from New Plymouth to-day for Newcastle, where she bunkers before proceeding to Nauru Island. The Tiroa sails this afternoon for Hick’s Bay and Gisborne. The Coronation arrives from Awanui to-morrow and sails on the return trip on Friday. . . . / The Portland, arriving from V- hakatane to-morrow, leaves on the return trip the next day. The Richardson Line steamer Awahou did not sail last night for the coast as proiected, on account of rain. She cleared port this morning for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. . , Rain delayed loading on the Putiki also and her departure was postponed a day, her sailing time now being 6 o’clock this evening for East Coast bays, Napier and Wairoa. , . „ The Piri arrived yesterday from vV ellington and anchored off Tamaki to complete the discharge of a cargo of plosives from Melbourne. . The Mikurangi arrived last night from ° Cement Company’s vessels Pvonaki and Herekino arrived this morning from Portland with cargoes of cement. On completing the installation of her engines the Tongan Government vessel Hifofua moves from the Western Wharf to the east side of Central Wharf.
