PAYING THE PRICE
CARELESS MOTORISTS A number of motorists who ignored traffic regulations paid the price in the Police Court this morning when they appeared before Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M. For passing a stationary tram Harry Walter Coles was fined £2. For speeding, Eileen Burrett and Mabel AJiee Johnson were each fined 20s. Charles S. Griffiths was fined £2 10s. For negligent driving Bertie Hawken was fined 20s, and for having no driver’s licence he was fined ss. For driving without a licence ilarold Cope was fined 20s, and Thomas Young 10s. For driving cars at night without lights Sylvester Blackwell was fined 10s, Alfred H. Claudwell 10s, Francis H. Hulbert 10s, Kenneth Lott 10s. Allan Mcßae was fined 10s on one charge and ordered to pay costs on two others.
