NO VACANCY ON ARBITRATION COURT
MR. SCOTT STILL THERE NOMINATIONS OUT OF ORDER (THE SUN'S Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Minister -of Labour, the Hon. G. J. Anderson, has received a nomination from the New Zealand Master Bakers’ and Pastrycooks’ Association, Auckland, for the position of employers’ representative on the Arbitration Court. The Minister points out, however, that no intimation has-yet been received from Mr. W. Scott that he intends to resign. If a vacancy in this office occurs the various industrial unions and employers will be notified by the department and asked for nominations according to the provisions of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act. At present nominations are not in order.
