Owing to continuous rain during the last round of county cricket, most of the matches will not be counted, as there was less than six hours' play. For Marylebone against Oxford, Titmarsh made 52. For Hampshire against Notts Kennedy scored 53 and >lead 81. Bowling for Notts Staples took six wickets for 69. For Somerset against Yorkshire, White, not out, made 56. Bowling for Glamorgan against Sussex, Mercer took six wickets for 48. For Kent against Leicester, Capes took seven wickets for 20. For Derby against Gloucester, Hutchinson made 102.
