DIXIELAND
BIG CHARITY BALL The Dixieland Cabaret was again extremely well patronised on Saturday, when an enjoyable evening was spent by those present. In addition to cabaret items by Professor Allen and Mr. Percival W r right, new numbers and novelty turns were provided by the famous Internationals, under the leadership of Mr. C. Howley. At the close of the evening an enthusiastic crowd loudly cheered the orchestra. To-morrow night a big charity ball is being held in aid of the Rev. Jasper Calder’s City Relief Fund. A number of cabaret items have been arranged, including Miss Gwen MacNaughton i » her Spanish and Russian solo dances, and Mr. Monte Brewster in his eccentric version of the charleston. Arrangements for the reservation of tables are advertised.
