NORMAL SCHOOL FIRE
BUSINESS A c usual CLASSES CARRY ON Pupils of the Normal School, who perhaps had visions of a few days' respite from school work as a result of the first last evening, would be somewhat disappointed by the decision of the headmaster, Mr. E. Varley Hudson, to carry on as usual. With the eastern portion of the building undamaged, it was possible to conduct the school as usual to-day. There are 470 children on the roll, but with standards V. and VI. absent at the manual training centre during the day, this has relieved the position until other arrangements can be made.
