DECEMBER 10 WANTED EXHIBITION TROT AT SHOW (Special to THE SUN.J WhANGAREI, • To-day. The executive committee of the Northland Trotting Club met on Wednesday evening. Mr. L. J. Brake was in the chair, and other members present were: Messrs. L. W. Nelson, C. L. Grange, A. F. Thompson, C. M. Moorcroft, A. Clarke, W. A. Abbott and R. S. McKenzie.
It was decided to apply for Satur day, December 10, as the date for th< next trotting meeting.
The Whangarei A. and P. Society wrote regarding the staging of an ex-
hibition trot on November 23 and 24. It was decided to run an exhibition trot, and the club will now make the necessary application to the New Zealand Trotting Association «ind the Minister for Internal Affairs. Applications for the position of secretary were considered, and the matter was deferred pending a sub-com-mittee from the club waiting on the Whangarei Racing Club, requesting that the present secretary be allowed to act until after the next trotting meeting. TROTTING FIXTURES July 2.—Ashburton County R.C. Winter (two events). July 21.—Waimate Hunt Annual (one event). July 23.—South Canterbury Hunt (one event). NOMINATIONS June 30.—South Canterbury Hunt (or.o event).
