OTTER IN BEDROOM.
While lying in bed, Mrs Ross, of Flotta. Orkney Islands, heard strange movements in the room. She called her son, who, after a search, found an otter snugly entrenched in a clothes cupboard. Neighbours were called, and the animal, which measured 3ft Tin, was dislodged and killed. Within living memory no member of the species has entered a house. though they are frequently caught some distance from the shore.
