HAND IN GLOVE WITH THE MODE
rpHE modern mode in gloves Is to be a very simple me indeed .... nothing but the plain glove will be worn by the smart woman on every occasion. There will, of course, be slight differences in detail for the gloves worn with different costumes, but elaboration of any kind is to be entirely a thing of the past where Milady’s glove is concerned. Hand in hand 'with simplicity in gloves goes a charming nonchalance in the way the correct glove will be worn. The newest of the new gloves will be as easy to wear as is an old slipper. Slip-on models will take pride of place, and their innate simplicity of style makes them extremely simple to manage. Tight-fitting gloves that have to be pulled and patted into shape will be considered anything but smart. Gloves are to be bought in an ample size, so that the wrists may wrinkle generously. The fingers, too, may wrinkle a little in formal gloves, and a little more in the informal type. All in all, the wearing of spring gloves will be a gesture to be carried off with a careless grace. —HUIA MASE.
