HOSPITAL AUXILIARY

PROPOSED NEW BODY LINK WITH PUBLIC A meeting of citizens interested in charitable work in the city, with the object of forming an auxiliary committee in connection with the Auckland Public Hospital, will be held next Friday afternoon in the Hospital Board offices, Kitchener Street.

The objects of this organisation are to bring about a spirit of sympathy and understanding between the hospital authorities and the public, to communicate with the relatives and friends of the patients, and give help in cases of need. It is desired that existing societies should both help, and receive help, from this auxiliary and also have representatives on its council.

Mrs. Emily Maguire is the secretary, temporarily.
