NORTHERN STOCK SALES
Messrs. Dalgety and Co. report having held their usual monthly stock sale at the Kamo yards on Thursday. There was a big attendance of buyers and an average yarding of stock. Competition was fair throughout. Best springers made from £ 5 10s to £ 8 10s, backward and inferior sorts £3 10s to C 4 »s. Fat heifers brought to £6, fat cows £5 10s, light cows £4 to £4 10s. Fat runners made £2, 5-year bullocks £7 10s, 3-year P.A. steers £4 15s. 2-vear steers £3 to £3 ss, 1-year steers £t 15s to £2 2s t>d, boner cows £2 10s to £3 17s 6d. cows and calves £3 ss. £3 10s to £3 17s 6d. store cows £2 5s to £3. 2-year heifers £1 15s to £2 ss, 1-year heifers £ 1 to £ 1 ss.
