LAWN TENNIS AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING If the art union fund had not been available, the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association would have made a slight loss last year. This statement was made by the president, Mr. E. W. Griffiths, at the annual meeting last night. This, he hoped, would be more than compensated for during the coming season by the affiliation of new clubs. It was decided to raise the secretary’s honorarium to £75 and to call for applications for the position. The appointment of committees was deferred until the next meeting, on account of a notice of motion providing for the appointment of a management committee. The following officers were elected: Patron, his Excellency the GovernorGeneral: president, Mr. E. Hickson; vice-presidents. Messrs. A. Goldie. E. W. Griffiths, H. G. Thomson, G. L. Taylor. C. C. Chalmers and F. J. Ohlson. The appointment of an auditor was deferred.
