JUNIOR FOOTBALL
THIRTY NEW TEAMS Prospects for a successful season were Indicated at last night’s meeting of the Junior Management Committee of the Auckland Football Association, the chairman, Mr. G. T. Lee, reporting that over thirty new teams from schools and junior clubs having intimated their intention of joining up. The following officials were appointed: Chairman, Mr. G. T. Lee; deputy chairman, Mr. G. L. Adams; registration secretary, Mr. G. L. Adams; assistant registration secretary, Mr. C. E. Downes; result secretary, Mr. C. M. Walker; delegate to grounds committee A.F.A., Mr. G. C. Ballantyne. Committees were elected as follows: Finance, Messrs. G. T. Lee and R. Beswick; grounds and fixtures, Messrs. C. E. Downes, F. C. Davis, R. P. Hodge, and G. C. Ballantyne; protest, Messrs. G. T. Lee, L. G. Adams, and R. M. Beswick; postponement, Messrs. S. L. Adams, R. Beswick, and G. C. Ballantyne. It was resolved that entries for ail school clubs and from fourth grade to seventh grade close on Monday, April 11.
