Industrial Deadlock. —A deadlock I been reached in connection with t strike at the Clyde Engineering Worl; ■New South Wales. The works man agers have refused a request by tin shop committee for a conference. They said they had no quarrel with the men, biit refused to treat with the committee when no dispute existed.
