The Lister Centenary has been monopolising the attention of medical and scientific societies in London, which is the centre of a world delegation paying tribute to the immense services the pioneer of antiseptic surgery rendered humanity. The Prime Minister, the Hon. Stanley Baldwin, in paying a tribute at a British Medical Association gathering, said that Lord Lister was a master workman, truth loving, truth seeking and truth living. All the newspapers are publishing special editorials and articles by leading scientists.—Sun.
