British Official Wireless. Rugby, June IG. Remarkable scenes followed the bursting of a water main in the centre of Londc . to-day. Neighbouring streets were v soon several feet deep with a swirling tide, which swept into shops, flooded: cellars and brought traffic to a standstill A tramway tunnel from Kingsway to the Embankment war flooded and dislocation of the tramway service resulted over a considerable area.
