Australia To Build Her Own 'Planes.
Press Association—Copyright. Received 11 a.m. Sydney, To-day. The Minister for Defence, Mr. R. A. Parkhill, in « broadcast address on "Australia's Aerial Defences," said that at prosent it was difficult to obi.; in delivery of orders for aeroplanes placed in Great Britain. In a time of emergency the possibility of getting aircraft from Great Britain would be almost, negligible, It was the Government's aim, therefore, to establish an aircraft industry in Australia and* action had been taken to achieve that resuit in the near future.
