Kt. W. M. Hughes In 'Plane Mishap This Time.

A private Monospar aeroplane conveying Mr. W. M. Hughes, Federal Minister of Health, and another passenger from Sydney to Brisbane to-day made a f jrced landing at Beaudesert, 47 miles from Brisbane, oecause of bad weather anc poor visibility. Mr. Hughes' collarbone was broken and he suffered severe shock. The pilot and the passenger were not hurt. The p.ane's wing and undercarriage were broken. Mr. Hughes a few weeks ago was injured in a motor-csr accident. The plane v/as piloted by Mr. J. McLachlan. Ke was flying blind for over an hour. In landing a wing struck a ferce. Mr. Hughes had to be sent to hospital bn* he was thankful for a miraculous escape.
