Bout With BlomfieM At Stratford. REPORT CONTRADICTED. Following a wrestling bout between Cowboy Russell and Kruse at Thames last night it. was reported that Rus sell had suffered a cut eye which nad necessitated the insertion of several stitches. As Russe'l is to meet Lofty Blomlield at Stratford tomorrow night, Mr G.' A. Carter, the secretary of the Stratford Wrestling Association, communicated with Rusfjcll this morning and found that he h:d suffered no serious injuria:.. He had received a blow in the eye but it was not necessary to have any a.itches inserted. Blomffeld wi 1 arrive in Sratford to-morrow afternoon and Russell w.ll arrive by the mail train this evening. Arrangements for the bout and a programme of pre'iminaries have been completed by the association's e::ecuftive; .and everything possiDle has been done to ensure a good evening~s entertainment.
