New South Wales ScL?me. YEAR’S EXCELLENT RESULTS Sydney, ,Tannery 12. The director of the N.S.W. Rural Employment Scheme fer Roys, Captain F. Aarons, states that flu ring 10" o the scheme placed in permanent farm or station work work 902 Roys from Sydney and Newcastle —a record achievefor any year since the scheme began operations. The reputation of the scheme has spread among farmers and graziers, and the flow of applications for suitable boy s lias placed a strain upon the resources of the organisation. For some time past the applications numbered 2d 'a. week, ami at present about TO jobs are available in t* iffer*-nt parts of (he Stale. The filling of applications from farmers is being facilitated by a short course of training in milking, made available for hoys by the Department of Labour and Industrv. Of the hovs placed in employment la. t vefir ,42d went to mixed farms, '.V!O to dairv farms, TdO to wheat farms, 0d to grazing properties am! the remainder to orchards and poultry farms. IMost of the hoys have hanking accounts and all have gained experience. During the Christmas holidays about "0 hovs visited Captain Aaron- at his office and related their experiences, many Rrimdng their bankbooks as evidence of the Surrey they had made of life on the land. ;
