| STRATFORD BAND COMMITTEE MEETING. i | GUESTS OF CHAIRMAN. The members of the committee of the Stratford Municipal Baud were entertained last night by the chairman, Mr. S. W. Whyte, at his residence. The monthly meeting of the band was first held when routine matters concerning band administration were dealt with. The I'act that some of the members were obliged to leave left (he meeting without a. quoum It Was decided therefore to adjourn Hie meeting for a fortnight and in the inlerval" to obtain additional information regarding the band’s constitution
The members wen; then served with supper i>y Mrs. Whyte at the conclusion of which Mr. A. 11. Trotter cntemled the committee’s thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Whyte for their hospitality. Such evenings, he said, added greatly to the harmonious working

) Mr. Whyte replied, saying that at j all times the committee worked to- | gether in unisiou for the best interest! lof the band. He hoped that such a i spirit would always prevail.
