RUMOUR DENIED
MR. JAMES ROOSEVELT’S
POSITION AT WHITEHOUSE
Press Association —Copyright Washington, April 28
The White House categorically denies reports that Mr. James Roosevelt, the President’s son, will join the President’s secretariat.
The Herald-Tribune on April 27 published a statement that Mr. James Roosevelt, the President’s eldest son, was to join the White House secretariat, which is being reorganised because of the long illness of Colonel Louis McHenry Howe, the President’s first secretary.
